WHO ARE YOU?

When was the last time you spoke to the little girl inside of you. I'm not talking about mom, wife, sister, friend, or any other label we carry. Somewhere deep inside of us is the real deal. It's not who we are at work, what we do for others, or even what others expect of us. Are you tired of trying to please everybody but yourself? Well here are some simple steps that may release some of the pressure.

1. Don't take on other's responsibilities (even if you think you can do a better job).
Come on ladies, you know what I mean.

2. If you are already stretched to your limit and someone asks you to do something for them, say NO! (Say it with me: NO) That was one of the first words we learned, ask any 2 year old.

3. Don't try to be Susie homemaker if you're not. That means quit condemning yourself because you are not like your neighbor. Guess what, you can do things they can't.

4. Who cares if you can't afford the lastest fashions because you're trying to clothe and feed your children. If you have clothes, that's more then some people in the world.

5. If you are in charge of something that you've done for twenty years and you don't enjoy it anymore,DELEGATE. Maybe there's something new for you to try.

6. Take time for yourself. To some of you, that sounds foreign but you are worth it. If only five minutes a day, take a deep breath and take the world off your shoulders.

7. Last but not least, remember that you are living, breathing human being that requires some TLC and need it in your daily routine.

The Word says that you are Fearfully and Wonderfully made. God doesn't make junk so I challenge you to remember who you really are.
